Welcome to Ammo Reports.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. What the Site Is
Ammo Reports is an independent, community-driven ballistic data reference database. The Site publishes factory ammunition performance data – velocity measurements, standard deviation, and related test conditions – submitted by registered users.
Ammo Reports is NOT:
- a retailer, dealer, or seller of ammunition or any other products
- a marketplace or platform for buying or selling
- a party to any transaction between a user and a retailer
- a reloading resource (the Site covers factory ammunition only)
- a source of safety or legal advice
Outbound retailer links (“Where to Buy”) are provided for reference convenience only. All purchases happen exclusively between the user and the retailer, under the retailer’s own terms and policies.
2. Eligibility
By using the Site, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You are permitted by law to access content related to ammunition in your jurisdiction
- You will use the Site only for lawful purposes
3. Registered Accounts and Data Submissions
Certain features – including submitting ballistic test data – require a registered account.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- The accuracy of any data you submit
- All activity that occurs under your account
Accuracy requirement: You may only submit data from tests you personally conducted or directly observed. Fabricating, estimating, or copying data from other sources without disclosure is prohibited.
Ammo Reports reserves the right to reject, remove, or flag any submission that appears inaccurate, duplicated, or submitted in bad faith, at our sole discretion.
4. Community Data – Disclaimer
All ballistic data on the Site is submitted by community members and has not been independently verified by Ammo Reports.
Data on this Site is provided for reference and informational purposes only.
- Actual performance of any ammunition may vary based on firearm, barrel length, temperature, altitude, lot number, and other factors.
- Data published here should not be the sole basis for any safety-critical decision, hunting application, or professional use.
- Always consult manufacturer specifications and exercise independent judgment.
Ammo Reports makes no representations or warranties – express or implied – about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any data published on the Site.
5. Affiliate Links and Retailer References
Some links on the Site are affiliate links. If you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer or affiliate network. The price you pay is not affected.
We are not responsible for:
- Retailer pricing, availability, or inventory
- Product quality, safety, or conformity to descriptions
- Shipping, returns, warranties, or customer service
- Any transaction you enter into with a retailer
These matters must be resolved directly with the retailer.
6. Content Creator Partnerships
Ammo Reports may link to third-party YouTube channels, podcasts, or websites that publish ballistic testing content. Such links do not constitute an endorsement of those creators’ opinions, methods, or conclusions. We are not responsible for content published by third parties.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Submit false, fabricated, or misleading ballistic data
- Scrape, harvest, or copy Site data in bulk without written permission
- Use the Site to harass, spam, or harm other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Site systems or other user accounts
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
8. Intellectual Property
The Site’s design, structure, written content, and original data compilations are the property of Imlay Unlimited LLC. User-submitted ballistic measurements remain the property of the submitting user; by submitting data, you grant Ammo Reports a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to display and use that data within the Site’s database.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AMMOREPORTS AND IMLAY UNLIMITED LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, RELIANCE ON DATA PUBLISHED ON THE SITE, OR ANY TRANSACTION WITH A THIRD-PARTY RETAILER.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
